The service

Maahir M&E is software for monitoring and evaluation: surveys, mobile collection, data cleaning, indicators, dashboards and reports. We provide the software as it is. You provide the data, and the judgement about what it means.

Your responsibilities

You collect data lawfully in every place you work, and you get consent from the people you survey before their answers, photographs or locations enter the platform. What you enter is your responsibility. Keep it accurate, and correct it when it is wrong.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to hold content you have no right to, or to reach data that belongs to another organisation. Do not resell the service as your own, and do not try to overload or break it. We can suspend accounts that do any of this.

Accounts

An account belongs to the person it was created for and sits inside an organisation. Give accurate details when you sign up, keep your password to yourself, and tell us quickly if an account is misused. Organisation admins decide who else holds an account, and remove people when they leave.

Availability

We are a young product and we give no uptime guarantee yet. We aim to warn you by email before planned maintenance, and to say plainly in the release notes when something changed. Keep your exports. Your data is safest when you hold a copy too.

Changes to the terms

We may change these terms as the service grows. When we do, we write to account holders before the new terms take effect, and the current version always lives on this page. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply to you.

Contact

Questions about these terms: hello@maahir.io. If you already have an account, write to support@maahir.io and a person will answer you.
